This has rapidly become my most successful mashup vid to date, this is thanks to the support of the band ATR and them featuring on their own blog. After only roughly 12 hours on Vimeo it currently has 313 views which is more than the other two videos combined!. I started work on this one when I got back from seeing ATR live in London but due to uni and work I had to put it to one side until now. I'm really pleased that its had such a good response and even the director of the original footage Julio Secchin has liked it on Vimeo which is really nice of him.

Another short mashup again this time with the epicly epic tune Doe Deer by Crystal Castles. I've wanted to do something with this track for a while know and after watching Cat Shit One I thought it was the perfect mix of crazy and cool for the music.

Do not watch this video if you have a weak stomach or hate horror. Another video mashup I made this time its Johnny Cash with the excellent Martyrs. If your not a horror genre fan avoid this movie but I thought it was really good and the music fits the story perfectly. This is the second video I have made as part of this music video collection and probably not the last. I really enjoyed making this one and without rendering it only took two hours to edit.

While on my degree course we were asked to produce a couple of short videos. To learn editing better I started creating short music videos mashing up songs with classic and not so classic movies. The first I produced was this mashup of Micheal bays epically bad movie The Island. For a first attempt I was pleased with how it turned out.

I made this video as part of my university degree the idea was to explain basic prinicples of typography. I wrote and recorded all the audio for the video and created the music using garage band. The video was animated using after effects. I felt that the video turned out really well even if it is a little shallow on content.

The audio for this video was recorded by the great writer Kurt Vonnegut. In it he details his 8 rules on how to write a good short story. All the animation has been produced by me and synced up with the audio. I chose to use this audio because I liked the idea of the list and the text is read very quickly so the video is fast paced and dynamic.
